Stroll through Jinaimachi Lantern Festival
At dusk, lanterns made by local residents, shops, and kindergarten children are lit to welcome visitors. (Summer 2023 – Date undecided)
Jinaimachi Lantern Festival
Tondabayashi Jinaimachi Toro is a summer tradition of Tondabayashi where about 1000 lanterns illuminate the old town and create a fantastic scenery.

Local people seem to come with their families.
There were many people wearing yukata. It feels cool for some reason.
It was crowded with people enjoying food from stalls and playing games.

Destination: Tondabayashi-Nishiguchi Station
Transportation from central Osaka:
①Take the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line/Nagano Line (bound for Kawachinagano) from Osaka-Abenobashi Station to Tondabayashi-Nishiguchi Station (about 30 minutes)
② Take the Nankai Koya Line from Namba Station to Kawachinagano Station (about 30 minutes ride)
*Change to the Kintetsu Nagano Line at Kawachinagano Station and head to Tondabayashi-nishiguchi Station (about 7 minutes)
10minutes on foot from Tondabayashi-nishiguchi Station.
